An opportunity has arisen within TSG for a Technical Field Engineer. This is a customer facing role responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware and software either remotely or on customer premises. It covers a large geographical area in and around the North East.
You will be responsible for ensuring all hardware and software is repaired and functioning to the highest standards. It will be necessary for you to keep up to date with the latest technical developments.
The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience and excellent knowledge of hardware and technical software products including extensive HP Server and workstation maintenance experience, printer maintenance and fault diagnosis, experience of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and Microsoft Exchange. As well as TCP/IP Networking and Wide area networking, COMMS configuration and diagnostics and Microsoft Server Software.
