My name is Steven Lynn and I am the Financial Controller (Operations and Commercial) for TSG.
My role in TSG is to provide financial stewardship over the resources of the business. I provide information that helps prioritise where we will get the highest returns from those resources and also identifies potential risks to the business.
I provide information to the management team so that informed decisions can be made and I’m involved in this decision making process.
I started with TSG as Management Accountant after leaving my previous role with Arriva as Assistant Accountant in 2004. I had completed half of my professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. TSG were very supportive during this time and allowed me practical opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge and continue to do so.
As I have progressed through my qualification TSG have mirrored my commitment and allowed me to progress to a more senior role in the business. I now manage a team of people and TSG continue to invest in my development through a management development programme.
