Following our email on the 24th July 2015 we’d like to advise you of the change to the call rates introduced by Ofcom in relation to Non-Geographic Numbers.
These changes came into effect on the 1st June 2015 and the 2 main changes are as follows:
- Calls to aftersales care numbers, such as customer services or fault and issue reporting numbers must not be to a 0845 number. Customers should not be charged to report any aftersales problems.
- Ofcom have abolished the call destinations known as Non-Geographic and replaced these with new call destinations now known as NGCS. This has resulted in a new pricing structure and therefore new pricing.
