Microsoft SQL Database Engine

The EnterpriseMRM product utilises Microsoft SQL Server as its database engine. EnterpriseMRM Standard edition uses Microsoft SQL 2005 Express and EnterpriseMRM Advanced is designed to run on SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005.

Running on such a platform provides additional benefits.

• Live backups available whilst the database is being utilised reducing down time for maintenance
• Increased performance relative to the number of concurrent users
• Increased reliability in the case of system failure
• Synchronisation across sites and laptops (EnterpriseMRM Advanced only)
• Stored procedures available to automate certain tasks (EnterpriseMRM Advanced only)
