T0004 3rd Line Escalation Support Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, technically strong and customer focussed 3rd line Escalation Engineer to join our team in Bellshill.

Within this role you will be dealing with escalated cases from our Helpdesk Consultants, customers and management team. You will be required to respond to and resolve technical escalations via telephone and remote access, problem analysis and investigation work on a multi discipline and multi issue level. As part of the role you will also need to assist with high priority and complex cases and deliver support to our larger customers ensuring the highest quality of service is provided at all times.

Key to this role is that you have a minimum 5 years’ experience troubleshooting Microsoft server technologies and LAN/WAN diagnosis as well as 3 years’ experience troubleshooting Microsoft applications to support our ever increasing customer base. To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for delivering a first class technical customer service as well as the ability to prioritise your workload based on customer needs. As you will be managing multiple cases, excellent organisational skills are a must along with the ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgement.

What else do we need from you? Ideally MCSA or a similar Microsoft qualification, excellent knowledge of server virtualisation using either VMware or Hyper-V, experience of Citrix technologies and Linux would be advantageous.
