What is your role here at TSG & how do you support our customers?
I’m part of the Housing Team here at TSG, and my role is Microsoft Housing Lead. I support our housing customers by helping them to build solutions that enable their organisations to flourish.

Tell us a little bit about your professional work history and how you came to TSG
Leaving school aged 17, I began a ship draughtsman apprenticeship at Swan Hunter Shipbuilders on the Tyne, after 5 years, and following the advice of the Prime Minster of the time I “got on my bike” and moved to the West Country.

It was here that I had my first exposure to IT through CAD and Document Management Systems and worked across the globe regionalising software applications and providing end user training.

15 years later, the North East came calling and I moved into the world of SharePoint and latterly the wider Microsoft SaaS productivity applications.

I now work solely in promoting solutions to the UK Social and Affordable Housing providers based on M365, Power Platform and Azure.

Working in this sector can be challenging, but also hugely rewarding when a solution we architect results in more resources being available on the front line to help those in need.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re logged off from work?
Out of work I wish I could say I was a well-known extreme sports competitor, but I can’t.

I like the simple things in life, family, good food, even better wine, and I do have a love of cider and, last but by no means least, GOLF!
