TSG have momentum to hit the ground running for 2015

After a prosperous end to 2014 leading IT solutions experts TSG are looking to continue the momentum into 2015 with more business wins across the region and beyond.

Gosforth based Technology Services Group (TSG) announced a number of deals in the final quarter of 2014 that amounts to almost £500,000 revenue for the business’ northern operations alone.

Major wins in the North East include projects for Home Group, AV Dawson and Mediaworks with customers further afield including Andy Thornton Ltd and The Outward Bound Trust.

These come on top of 20 orders that are in the pipeline for TSG Tribe, the member relationship management system launched in 2014 on the back of significant investment in research and development.

Mark Joynson, TSG’s Managing Director for the North said, “The common thread across these recent wins is that they are almost all based on Microsoft solutions and the drive to modernise IT across businesses of all sizes.”

“The projects range from infrastructure refreshes with customers moving key services to the cloud-based Office 365 to the deployment of key applications built on Microsoft SharePoint.”

“Integration is becoming increasingly critical and that is also one of the reasons we chose to develop TSG Tribe on the powerful Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 platform.”

With Windows Server 2003 coming to End of Support on July 14th 2015, and a huge number of servers still in operation across the globe, it’s likely that many business will need to take action.

As Joynson explains, “Experts across the world of technology agree that taking no action is not an option. End of Support means no more updates or patches from Microsoft and that is likely to result in a less stable and less secure infrastructure.”

“More importantly, it’s an opportunity to pick up on new developments that offer significant advantages such as anytime, anyplace access, lower cost of entry, consolidation and ‘pay as you grow’ cost control. It also opens the door to collaboration and communication tools that could transform the way businesses operate.”

TSG holds six Microsoft Gold Competencies which are achieved as the result of a rigorous process that reflects customer satisfaction and the high level of qualifications attained by those responsible for designing and implementing solutions.

Joynson continues, “Our unrivalled status as a Microsoft Partner echoes our view that nothing in the modern technology exists in isolation. We’re recognised for our expertise across 6 key areas including server platforms, ERP, CRM, content and collaboration, and small and mid-market business.”

“2014 saw substantial investment for the group as well as some challenges with restructuring, so this is a great sign that we are beginning to see the benefits from these strategic decisions and hopefully it shall continue strongly for the coming year”.
