Non-Geographic Numbers Change of Rates
Following our email on the 24th July 2015 we’d like to advise you of the change to the call rates introduced by Ofcom in relation to Non-Geographic Numbers.
These changes came into effect on the 1st June 2015 and the 2 main changes are as follows:
- Calls to aftersales care numbers, such as customer services or fault and issue reporting numbers must not be to a 0845 number. Customers should not be charged to report any aftersales problems.
- Ofcom have abolished the call destinations known as Non-Geographic and replaced these with new call destinations now known as NGCS. This has resulted in a new pricing structure and therefore new pricing.
Our dedicated team are on hand to offer support and guidance to all of our customers, therefore should you wish to discuss this further or require a copy of the new pricing please do not hesitate to contact one of the telecommunications team. You can contact them either on the telephone on 0333 222 8052, Option 3, or alternatively via email email@example.com.
