Sage 200c suite with Office 365 for national youth information charity

Company profile

Young Scot is the national youth information and citizenship charity for young people aged 11-26 in Scotland.
Young Scot provides the best blend of information and opportunities to give young people the confidence to make informed choices about their lives.

The challenge

Young Scot used legacy business applications that not only sat in isolation within departments, but were becoming outdated.
In a bid to improve its internal communications and streamline business processes, the charity wanted to move to cloud technology.
Having been a customer for 18 years, TSG understood that both technology and compatibility would be a key driver in the charity’s digital transformation.
The futureproof solution needed to provide a solid foundation with scalability the charity could build on over time.

The solution: Sage 200c suite with Office 365

With Sage having just released its latest innovative ERP offering, and Young Scot already using Sage software and valuing its powerful BI tool, it was the perfect time to upgrade the charity to Sage 200c.
A significant feature of Sage 200c is its full integration capabilities with Office 365 that replaced Young Scot’s legacy business systems.
The hybrid solution uses the latest cutting-edge technologies (including Teams, Planner and OneDrive) which the charity is already developing, with Young Scot set to be one of the first organisations in the UK to take advantage of Sage 200c’s latest feature, Bank Feeds, a bank reconciliation tool.
Amalgamating Sage software and O365 has truly kick-started Young Scot’s digital transformation journey, and strengthened its services to young people in the community.

“Having Sage 200c integrated with Office 365 delivers real value with dashboards to give us the information we need quickly. It’s exciting to know that we can tailor our Sage 200c solution if required when developments are released. Our move to Office 365 has dramatically transformed the way we work and communicate as a team.”
