T00117 CRM Consultant & Product Specialist

Job Purpose

This is a customer facing role to cover all aspects of: requirements gathering, solution design, installation and implementation within the CRM team.  The role covers Microsoft CRM and Dynamics 365 solutions both on premises and online. 

Additionally you will provide a best in class pre sales resource to customers and prospects via TSG’s Business Development Managers (BDM’s) and Account Directors (AD’s). Help BDMs and ADs drive incremental business growth through sale of TSG approved CRM products and services, by applying a high level of and CRM (and associated add-ons) Product knowledge and compiling highly professional proposal documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct Consultancy role:

    • Analyse business requirements

    • Make recommendations to customers based on solutions in product stack and the needs of the customer’s business

    • Write documentation to high standard

    • Install and implement software

    • Configure solutions to meet customer’s business needs

    • Conduct user training

    • Project manage small to medium sized projects

  • Scoping, data migration, training, support

  • Provide good geographical coverage for TSG clients and prospects across the UK via suitable permanent location, teamwork and regular travel.

  • Conduct Product Specialist Role

    • Work closely with RFS team leader to improve & increase self-serve options & qualify and validate solutions.

    • Actively participate within key prospects and clients to support BDM’s and AD’s

    • Participate in the enablement of wider Product Management team through information dissemination and shared learning

    • Demonstrate an in-depth and up to date knowledge of TSG Dynamics product portfolio

    • Possess working knowledge of the wider Application, Technical and Telecom portfolio in support of integration and convergence developments, with specific attention to Office 365

    • Proactive pipeline generation

    • Produce high quality customer communication and proposal documentation as individual and team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Your qualifications

  • Degree level or equivalent is desirable

  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent is essential

  • Recognised software based accreditations 

Your skills & knowledge

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Functional knowledge

  • Experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM software

  • In depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and associated products

  • Excellent communication skills and Business Acumen

  • Team focussed but able to self-start and motivate

  • Expert knowledge of projects and product life cycle

  • Strong client facing skills

  • Excellent requirement gathering

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Strong PowerPoint & Presentation Skills.

  • Commercial awareness and a broad understanding of business issues.

  • Understanding of needs based sales methodology; solution or consultative selling 

Your experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a CRM Consultancy role

  • Implemented multiple CRM systems

  • Pre-sales / Business Development experience
