T00194 & T00195 PC Rollout Engineers - 12 month contracts
Job Purpose
Reporting to Technical Field Team Leader the role of a PC Rollout engineer is to deliver a range of services to agreed deadlines and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities
Execution of a range of projects to completion with customer acceptance
Hardware and software installations based primarily around Microsoft / HP technologies at customer sites inside and if required outside your region.
Undertake break / fix support tickets
Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and seek to gain relevant certifications.
Assist with post-installation and break/fix issues
Document all project work to a high standard
Maintain boot stock and conduct audits
Escalate any issues to Technical Field Team Leader / Technical Manager
Collaboration and Relationships
With Sales / Technical Specialists and clients to agree objectives for projects
With Project Coordinators to identify any issues that may impact project delivery
With Support Coordinators to achieve SLA’s for SystemCare and break / fix contracts
With Technical Consultants in delivering larger projects as and when required
With Team Leader and other field team members
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Your qualifications
Aim to achieve and maintain two ‘Engineers Level’ certifications. Industry standard qualifications such as MCP (Any), MCSA (Any) or similar would be desirable.
Your skills & knowledge
Experience of hardware
o PC, laptop and similar hardware
o Tablets, Mobile devices and similar hardware
o Router and similar hardware experience desirable
o HP Server hardware experience and similar desirable
Knowledge of current IT technologies and software
o Experience of PC and Laptop operating systems
o Microsoft Office 365
o LAN / IP technologies
Ability to manage a number of on-going projects at any given time and be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality
Able to work well as part of a team and individually
Must have a clean or near clean driving licence
Good time and workload management skills
Conscientious, well organised and customer focussed
Good logical/trouble shooting skills
Your experience
Excellent knowledge of PC and Laptop Hardware
Excellent knowledge of current IT technologies
