T0300 2nd Line Service Desk Consultant - Bellshill/Team Valley
We are delighted to be recruiting for 2 Service Desk Consultants to support either our existing team in Bellshill, Lanarkshire or Team Valley, Gateshead.
Within this role you will be required to remotely diagnose and repair faults in customer systems using remote access software and verbal instructions. You will ensure customer calls are responded to in a timely manner, ensure customers are kept updated with the status of their fault, update our service desk system with detailed notes and resolutions whilst ensuring a high quality of service is provided to our customers.
Key to this role is that you have a demonstrable experience within a WAN/Server environment and a working experience of site infrastructure to support our ever increasing customer base. To succeed in this role you must have a passion for delivering a first class technical customer service as well as the ability to prioritise your workload. As you will be managing multiple cases at the same time excellent organisational skills are a must, along with the ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgement.
What else do we need from you? Ideally experience in Microsoft Exchange, VPN’s, Firewall/Routers, Hyper-V, VMWare and extensive trouble shooting experience. An MCSA certification would also be an advantage.
It would also be desirable if you have experience in back-up technologies particularly back-up exec, VEAM, BTL’s and Datto.
