Getting smart with technology: Futuretech London
Digital transformation is more than just a buzzword; it’s already happening in businesses of all shapes and sizes. It’s not always easy to understand, however our series of Futuretech events will break it down for you.
Our first event of the series was held in London on Tuesday 10th October and was a great success. Delegates attended from various sectors, but all had the same question in mind:
‘How can I make my business run smoother, more effectively and more productively than ever?’
Our industry experts were able to showcase and demonstrate real-life solutions that have already been deployed, but more excitingly were able to talk about the future, what’s to come and how it’ll work for everybody. The technology demonstrated is now both accessible and affordable, with Office 365 set to become the ‘glue’ that holds together fragmented systems.
The event took place in central London and the space was fantastic. With all TSG events we want to add value to our customers’ experience, so little things like great catering options count. Feedback on the breakfast was especially good, with the many options of yogurt pots and smoothies being big winners.
As the new Events Coordinator at TSG (I only started 3 weeks ago!) I was able to really chat to our customers and get valuable comments and feedback to help support my events strategy going forward. I spoke to a lovely lady who was blown away by the presentation from our very own Tony Hughes, Senior SharePoint Specialist. She said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and demos, the TSG team did a wonderful job at covering all the different products that support customers with their digital transformation journey. The session was very engaging and easy to understand. Keep doing what you’re doing!”
I’ve done lots of events over the years but I can honestly say the content and support TSG provided at this event was exceptional. I can’t wait to attend the next round in Newcastle and Manchester.
Something I took away from the day myself was the simplicity of the demos I saw. I’m not from a technology background and I found the information easy to follow and now really understand the value of Office 365 and other technologies. From the feedback I can see, the event had the same impact on our customers.
