TSG one of only 11 businesses worldwide included on the SharePoint Business Applications Partner Program

TSG is delighted to announce that we are one of only 11 worldwide partners accepted as a charter member of Microsoft’s brand-new SharePoint Business Applications Partner Program. TSG is the only UK partner to be included on the programme.

This latest accolade is a testament to TSG’s exemplary work in creating elegant solutions using SharePoint and its supporting business applications – PowerApps, Flow, Forms and Power BI.

The programme is designed to “address the needs of our customers for integrating modern technologies and applications into their everyday business processes.” Microsoft says this partner initiative will not only help customers build apps and forms, but in the grand scheme of things move them from legacy technology and paper-based processes to Office 365 and its innovative apps.

Dave Rawes, TSG’s Director of Microsoft Solutions, commented on this latest achievement: “this is further evidence that we’re a standout Microsoft partner, in addition to our 9 Gold competencies and the seats we’ve held on its Global Advisory Council.

“We’re one of the most comprehensive Microsoft business partners not only in the UK but in the world, with the ability to manage a customer’s entire IT estate using Microsoft solutions.

“Microsoft is bringing its intelligent Office 365-based applications to the forefront. SharePoint is now the hub for business transformation with its supporting applications PowerApps, Flow, Forms and Power BI.

“We can achieve almost anything with this rich suite of products, from mobile worker solutions to core business applications such as expense management and compliance solutions. Not only can we implement these solutions for customers, but we can help them achieve true digital transformation through the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.”

As part of this programme, TSG will have access to exclusive resources and training from Microsoft that will only be available to members. In addition, TSG representatives will participate in quarterly briefings with the Microsoft product team to help shape future updates.

Dave Rawes further commented, “we’re delighted that we’ve been progressing at the same pace and in the same direction as Microsoft. Our inclusion in this programme is largely thanks to our former SharePoint team, which is now the Office 365 Productivity team. The guys have adapted from traditional SharePoint solutions to embrace the whole Office 365 suite in order to create such innovative solutions.

“In order to be considered for this programme, we had to evidence the work that we’ve done with these applications. We implemented a solution for H. Malone & Sons, which was working on the iconic Byker Wall in Newcastle, to manage the entire process from booking and tracking visits to installation and data visualisation on the project. Similarly, we replaced an entire paper-based process at Energetics, reducing the time from weeks to hours and removing the need for manual data entry. In addition, we created an entire expenses management solution for Curo which further integrated with Microsoft Teams.

“We’re always working to deliver more value to our customers, and this announcement will help us to support our customers in getting the most out of their Microsoft solutions even further.”

This is a huge achievement for TSG and our special thanks go to our colleagues who helped us to secure our place on this limited programme: Steven Osprey, Tony Hughes, Tita Atang, Michael Duffy, Sergio Giusti, Kashish Kumar and Phil Coulson.
