TSG wins three Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2020 awards
TSG is proud to announce it has won three awards from Best Companies as part of the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2020.
In its first year of entering this prestigious programme, TSG has been voted as one of the 30 Best Companies to Work For in the North East (placing 23rd) and 50 Best Companies to Work For in Scotland (placing 48th), as well as gaining a 1 Star accreditation for employee engagement.
The Best Companies accreditation recognises businesses which understand the importance of employee engagement and genuinely value their people. Our 1 Star accreditation evidences the fact that TSG takes workplace engagement seriously and recognises our ‘very good’ levels of workplace engagement.
To qualify for a Best Companies award, employees at TSG were invited to take part in the B-heard survey to give feedback on how they find TSG as an employer. The survey was anonymous, allowing employees to be completely honest, and results were benchmarked against other companies entering the scheme.
This means TSG’s people have a direct say and their feedback has resulted in the company’s fantastic achievements.
Stuart Byers, Head of Customer Experience at TSG, said of the accolades, “We’ve been working hard over the past 18 months to not only understand how our people feel about working for TSG, but to make improvements based on their suggestions and feedback.
“We reached a point where we wanted to benchmark our employee experience and engagement, and we’re delighted with our results – to win one award is brilliant, but three in our first year of entering is nothing short of phenomenal.
“Our philosophy is that happy, talented and motivated staff create happy customers and we’re passionate about delivering the best experience to everyone.”
Jonathan Austin, CEO and Founder of Best Companies, further commented, “I would like to congratulate TSG on its achievement. Best Companies has been producing the accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace.
“Organisations like TSG have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a best company to work for.”
TSG is incredibly proud to have achieved these prestigious awards, but isn’t resting on its laurels.
TSG CEO, David Stonehouse, said of the company’s achievement, “This is our first year of entering these awards; it won’t be our last and we’ll be aiming to climb up the table in each of the national and regional league tables.
“We want everyone to feel TSG is the best place to work and know we all need to play our part for this to become a reality.”
