Awards Success and Recognition for TSG

TSG are celebrating after recent national and international award recognition from some of their key technological partners.
At their recent Global Partner Conference in Rome, IT Security Experts Sophos recognised a select group of partners for their outstanding achievements in the last year. TSG’s Steve Cox and Paul Burns attended and managed to return home with one of Sophos’ highest honours.

For an impressive 5th consecutive year TSG were crowned “UK Small Business Partner of the Year”. Winners were carefully reviewed and selected by the Sophos management team based on their accomplishments and dedication to their Sophos partnership.

Paul Burns elaborated on the significance of this award. “This is great news for TSG and goes to show how all the hard work put in by everyone to make sure they know their stuff helps us stand out above our competition in yet another key area of technology.

“Our commitment to training our people to be as skilled and knowledgeable as possible has meant our Sophos qualified team of specialists now stands at 23 engineers. When you think that the most engineers the majority of other Sophos partners have is about 8 this easily demonstrates why TSG are one of only two Sophos Platinum Partners in the UK.”

In other ‘international awards recognition’ news TSG were also recently a nominated finalist at Nintex’s Annual Partner Awards which they held during the Microsoft World Partner Conference in Orlando. Nintex create advanced workflow and forms that integrate with Microsoft SharePoint.

For a second time TSG were finalists in the “Solution Innovation Award” which recognises partners for their “ingenuity, technical sophistication, and business impact”. Having previously won this award for the solution developed for Strathclyde Fire & Rescue TSG were nominated this year for the innovative use of SharePoint for Home Group’s knowledge management system.

Tony Hughes, Senior SharePoint Specialist said: “From 140 global entrants, to be shortlisted to the final three for the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Region is a fantastic achievement. Whilst at the end of the day we didn’t win the award it is still a great accolade for everyone involved in a really unique and innovative way of implementing the technology for Home Group.”
