TSG takes home Sophos award for 9th time

TSG is delighted to announce it is the proud recipient of the Sophos UKI Small Business Partner of the Year Award for 2019.

This is the 9th year in a row we have taken home this fantastic award, thanks to a fruitful partnership with Sophos and the continued dedication of our highly accredited staff.

Behind this win are several factors which have been demonstrated by TSG including a sustained commitment to training, product adoption, security council and the ongoing promotion of the importance of security through events and webinars.

TSG’s Chief Technology Officer, Paul Burns, returned to the annual Sophos partner conference to accept the award for 2019, alongside Senior Technical Specialist, Grant Campbell.

Paul spoke of the win, saying; “It’s an honour to be awarded the UKI Small Business Partner of the Year Award for 2019. I’m extremely proud of the team behind this great achievement.

“We’re proud to have some of the most highly qualified security experts in the field and continue to maintain our commitment to training and development of our staff, ensuring our experts are informed and up-to-date with the latest developments in the cyber security landscape.

“The conference demonstrated the many challenges we face in protecting our customers’ crucial IT systems, and more importantly their data, but the strength of our partnership with Sophos means we are perfectly placed to deliver robust and secure solutions that are equipped to deal with harmful attacks on businesses and their end users”.

TSG understands the importance of business security and the need for businesses to stay one step ahead as advanced cyberattacks continue to become increasingly coordinated.

Sophos has developed unique and unprecedented solutions to protect the complete business technology environment. Taking the simple step of synchronising security products that previously operated independently, Sophos’ forward-thinking approach creates more effective protection against today’s advanced malware and targeted attacks, providing instant visibility into the security status of all protected endpoints and systems.

The passion of our experts and TSG’s accredited position as a Sophos Select Partner places us as a major force in the challenging IT security landscape and ensures our customers are best placed to face current and future cyberthreats.

Martyn Brownlie, Channel Sales Director at Sophos has congratulated TSG, saying, “TSG is no newcomer to this award, winning it for the 9th year in a row. Once again this is a fantastic achievement. Both the quantity and quality of its business is underpinned by the number of trained engineers in this space, with an outstanding number of over 300 accreditations that have been taken by staff. TSG maps its security business to grow in line with today’s ever-changing market of threats and in turn maximise its opportunity.”

This year’s Sophos Discover Partner Conference took place in Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, showcasing an overflowing agenda of interactive sessions, expert presentations and networking opportunities.

AI and machine learning featured highly, alongside topical discussions around public cloud security, the evolution of malware and announcements of upcoming features and capabilities in the Sophos product stack.

TSG would like to thank our dedicated staff and valued customers for their continual support. We look forward to the year ahead, maintaining our strong partnership with Sophos.
