Young Scot is a Scottish charity dedicated to delivering information, ideas and access to opportunities to those aged 11-26.
With over 30 years of experience, the organisation aims to provide a universal service to support and meet the ever-changing needs of young people in Scotland as they progress towards and through adulthood.
With legacy applications becoming rapidly outdated and multiple technologies sitting in isolation across different departments, the charity wanted to harness modern cloud technology to unite its internal communications and streamline segregated business processes.
Young Scot turned to TSG, as a recognised Microsoft Gold partner, to build a futureproof, scalable solution that would stand the test of time and pave the way for future growth.
The charity needed the right technologies and compatibility across the entire organisation for its first steps towards digital transformation becoming a success.
Team TSG worked with Young Scot to build and deliver an innovative hybrid solution, taking advantage of Sage 200c’s full integration capabilities with the Office 365 suite.
Young Scot was already familiar with Sage software and particularly valued its powerful BI tool, making an upgrade to Sage 200c the best choice to modernise the charity’s existing ERP solution, allowing a natural progression and very little disruption.
For the second element of the solution, best-in-class Office 365 applications, including Teams, Planner and OneDrive, were combined to create a seamlessly compatible and comprehensive environment to house Young Scot’s previously isolated business processes.
“Having Sage 200c integrated with Office 365 delivers real value with dashboards to give us the information we need quickly.
“It’s exciting to know that we can tailor our Sage 200c solution if required when developments are released.
“Our move to Office 365 has dramatically transformed the way we work and communicate as a team.”
