Michael has spent 15 years specialising in Sage financial systems – beginning his career in Sage's technical support team before transitioning to consultancy roles implementing solutions across retail, hospitality, corporate finance, and private sector organisations. His education sector expertise includes:

• 9 years focused exclusively on education clients: multi-academy trusts, independent schools, and maintained schools.
• Deep expertise in the DfE Chart of Accounts, fund accounting, grant tracking, multi-entity consolidation, and education-specific regulatory compliance.
• Extensive implementation experience configuring Sage Intacct for education finance teams throughout the UK—from trust-wide consolidation to restricted fund management and board-level reporting.

Michael leads TSG's Sage Intacct practice for the education sector.
